Personification Exercise (II-Molave)

VOICE OF THE STORM
by Mary Philline Descalzo

A hurricane looms ominously
As night time comes.
Darkness speaks a ballad
For the tempest
While the wind shouts angrily
To the rain just to make
Its presence felt.

But then, as the evening folds,
The morning slides and
A new day commences.

UNTITLED
by Angelica Alvarado

In this serene late afternoon, the guitar
Writes a beautiful song
One with joyous melodies and peaceful tunes
Full of perfection, nothing can go wrong

Above it, puffy clouds swing
So graceful, I want to sing!
It is so calm with all of these
But dusk waits, It can't be missed.

IT'S AN UNUSUAL DAY BY THE OCEAN
by John Carlo Conda

The beach blocks the entrance
of water, the sea groans sheepishly to it
The waves think of a solution
to calm the sulking sea
While the sky yawns at them
as it watches the daily event
from up above

DAWN OF THE LIGHT
by Gabrielle Beatrice Soloria

The morning wakes up
as the night time folds.

The sky slowly hugs
the brightness of the horizon.

A new day starts, and
my dreams think I'll have
to face reality.

DON'T LOSE IT
by Dion Mari Comia

Beauty reads
What the human eyes can't
She understand things
That humans can't

Dreams speak
Of what the future holds
But only humans
Can make it happen, make it real

Humans are given
Only one chance
One shot
to make the best of it

For time groans
At the opportunity lost
And she will never, ever
Turn back to correct our mistakes.

Personification Exercise (II- Narra)

PEACEFUL NIGHTS
by Ma. Jada N. Soreda

The moon starts to count the lasting seconds before it clambers
as it watches the fading sky that's painted with amber.
Then, the starlit heaven slowly unfolds,
revealing the sparkling sky that it beholds.

Let the wind groan,
listen at hums a playful tone.
So, let your blanket drown you with ease,
and close your eyes in tranquility and peace.

A JOURNEY
by Norielle A. Dejucos

As the sky begins to fall,
I hear someone call.
The sea prays for it to stop,
But the rain continues to drop.

The waves come crashing over here
The wind whooshes into the atmosphere
The lightning flashes and the thunder roars,
Frightening all passengers aboard.

At last, someone hears our cry.
It was the rainbow that speaks to the sky.
And as the sun rises,
It sprinkles hope to everyone.

Upon arriving at the port,
I see my blanket waiting for me
Finally, after my long journey,
I can now sleep calmly.

LISTEN
by Princess Deanne C. Luchavez

As the waves throw themselves to the shore,
The Lord listens to their cries of misery.
Then the guitar starts to dance
And the Lord sings with its melody.

And then the Lord turns silent
Trying to hear a voice whispering
There He sees in a dark quiet room
Asking for help, is a mirror, praying.
